The First International Congress of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies (CIECI) aims to share and interchange the knowledge and research currently being carried out from the perspective of Cultural Studies. To do this, it accepts communications from all scientific and humanistic disciplines that investigate any aspect related to contemporary culture. CIECI in order to include worldwide voices has a face-to-face and virtual character.

The titles, abstracts and keywords of the communications will be published through the methaodos.org research group congress web (OCS). The complete text of all the communications which surpass the evaluation through a blind peer review procedure will be published in the congress proceedings. Finally, those communications that obtain a better evaluation by the CIECI will be published as an article in an ordinary number of scientific journals that have reached a collaboration agreement with the congress. The selected communications should be adapted to the article format that the journal's standards provide.
