Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Language:

Communications will be accepted in Spanish, English and Portuguese (official languages of CIECI).

Proposals submission:

All communications will be made through the conference web. No direct contacts to the directors of the congress or the program coordinators are allowed. Firstly, a summary of the paper will be sent in order to be validated by the program coordinators. If accepted, the author could then send the final text. The organization notify its acceptance in the scheduled date.

Author:

An author may submit only a single communication to the congress. The payment of the registration fee allows the presentation of a single communication regardless it is individual or collective. CIECI only will include in the congress proceedings and certifications the names of collective communications authors who are up to date with their congress fees.

Abstract:

In a first submission, the author will sent the title, identification of the authors and a brief abstract of the communication. The abstract will contain a maximum of 250 words. In the same, it will be presented briefly the objective of the communication, the methods followed in the research and the conclusions will be advanced. Bibliographical references will not be included. At least four keywords identifying the communication that are not contained in its title will be added. (Authors must ensure that they do not submit the abstract until it is perfectly finished.)

In the section "Comments for conference director" the author must indicate if the communication will be "face-to-face" (attendees) or "Virtual" (by videoconference). In any case, the oral presentation of the communications will not be compulsory.

Final text:

• The final text will have a maximum extension of 4000 words, including the title, abstract, keywords and bibliography. This limit will be followed strictly. The objective of the same is to present the current research, theoretical or empirical, in a brief and precise way.
• No attachments of any kind will be accepted and footnotes will be avoided.
• The graphs, tables and illustrations will be placed in the text and numbered in correlative order. If photographs are included this will have a minimum resolution of 200 ppi.
• The final text must be submitted using the attached template: CIECI 2018 TEMPLATE.
• Authors should not edit the text.
• Citations and bibliography, alphabetically ordered, will use the APA system.

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration in any other scientific conference or publication.
2. The sending file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx).
3. The submitted text always provides the URLs for the necessary references.
4. The text is edited following the model that has been provided in the instructions for the authors.
5. The authors have included an abstract, keywords, identifying data and a brief biographical note.
